Equinix/Smith Switch & Loudoun County Pkwy- 2017

Details: DUC’s responsibilities included new underground construction for telecommunications consisting of a 20 way system of new build in Ashburn, Virginia along Loudoun County Parkway, Beaumeade Circle and Smith Switch Rd. Construction elements included self-performance of trenching and excavation, directional boring, cable placement, splicing, testing, all project management, procurement and documentation.
Martin & Gass/ VDOT Route 1 Widening Project- 2016

Details: DUC’s responsibilities included new underground construction for power & telecommunications as part of VDOT’s Route 1 widening project increasing lanes from four to six. Work extended approximately 1.3 miles between S. Occoquan Rd. and N. Annapolis Wy. Construction elements included self-performance of trenching and excavation, directional boring, all project management, procurement and documentation.
