Safety

Safety

Down Under Construction applies a rigid system of control on operational safety during job planning, throughout construction, and beyond finalization of the project when the general public utilizes the infrastructure.

Site safety plans are prepared for each individual project. The safety plans are reviewed by management and crew members together before starting work. Tool Box talks are routinely provided to reinforce basic safety practices. Site preparation, together with cleanup, are essential to maintain crew health and minimize hazards. Our objective is to leave the job site in a better state than when we began.

Training & Testing-Reinforcing the Basics.

Specific training modules insure crews are competent to operate the required equipment.

Crew members are subjected to rigorous health monitoring and operating procedures, including random drug and alcohol testing.
